As another year draws to a close, we asked the team to reflect on the last 12 months and share their highlights. 2017 was the year Neo PR turned 6 years old, a photo of Sam and his new pal Dexter went (almost!) viral for #BringYourDogToWorkDay and we grew as a team! From getting awesome results for clients to the Christmas bash in NYC, it’s been a busy but brilliant year for us all! Keep reading for our 2017 highlights and a few snaps…
Wow, what a year! We’ve had explosive growth which is up 30% on the previous year – and we smashed the £1m turnover. I made a big promise made on the works Christmas bash last year in Geneva that if we grew that much then we’d be off to New York. And what a blast New York was! I made a similar challenge in New York that when we topple the £1.25m mark we’ll be off to Dubai. Though this is all spectacular, my highlights are always watching and helping our team to grow whilst continuing to deliver above client expectation. We have developed an enviable reputation in the market for excellence and I am very proud of everyone at Neo PR who helps to make this happen.
2017 has been a big year for Neo PR. We’ve grown in so many ways, from physically reorganising the office to accommodate our growing team, and increasing numbers of wonderful clients, to getting smarter in how we sell and deliver our services. But my biggest highlight of the year is simply the team here, who make me very proud to be a founder member of Neo PR.
I think one of my main highlights has to be the growth of Neo this year as we have made some significant changes that will hopefully set us up for a very exciting 2018. Our own sales and marketing is also a massive highlight for me as I feel we have matured and started to put a real grown-up focus on how we achieve some really exciting things in the world of Neo PR marketing!
But of course, it wouldn’t be fair to round off the year without mentioning all the fabulous things we get to do as a team. From rounders matches to bowling, to brunch in a snowy Central Park, I love spending time with the team and making memories as a company. Here’s to many more!
My personal highlight since re-joining Neo in October this year has been seeing just how far we’ve come since I’ve been away. The organisation has grown so much, with a fantastically talented team delivering at a high standard for some fantastic clients across such a variety of different industries while staying true to our core tech specialism. I am very proud to be back and part of this fantastic company and with some exciting business growth and marketing plans in place, I am hugely excited about 2018!
Becoming an Account Director for a number great clients and having the opportunity to line manage some fantastic PR talent. It’s been a great year for coverage and there are lots of exciting things in the pipeline for 2018, which means we all get to leave this year on a huge high.
There have been lots of highlights for me in 2017. Since joining the Neo PR team at the beginning of the year there’s been lots of fun and hard work. Personal highlights have to include our team trip to New York – the less said about the variable quality of the singalong the better, getting down and dirty in the rounders match before hitting home a victory, attending some really great customer events and my promotion to Senior Account Manager. There’s never a dull moment at Neo PR and I can’t wait to see what 2018 has planned for us.
After joining Neo PR in October this year, it’s certainly been a very exciting start. I had the opportunity to meet our clients at the annual Varsity rugby match and then we all jetted off to a snowy New York City for our Christmas party – a perfect way to celebrate all the team’s many achievements! It’s been great getting to know the team better and working hard to generate some fantastic coverage for our clients. I’m looking forward to another busy year ahead!
The whole year has been full of so many highlights! I have progressed from a Junior Account Executive to a Junior Account Manager in my role at Neo PR thanks to the support and encouragement from the team. Manhattan Exchange was also a big client highlight for me because of the press coverage and interest we received during the event.
At Neo PR, every day is #BringYourDogToWorkDay and for the special day, Sam got a new playmate – Claire’s labrador, Dexter! We shared a photo on social media and The Telegraph picked it up and included the snap in their highlights – big moment for us! It also got a ridiculous amount of hits on social media, so thank you, Sam and Dexter, for being adorable. And of course, our Christmas Party this year took place in New York, which gave us the chance to celebrate a very busy but successful year.
Since starting at Neo PR back in April of this year, I’ve had many highlights – from securing my first pieces of coverage to meeting some of my lovely clients for the first time, it’s certainly been full of positives. As the team continues to grow at Neo, we’ve had some great new recruits and we’ve even had a fantastic new member join our POD, Francesca.
I also attended my first Neo PR-famous Varsity match that is held every year, which was great to be a part of and to integrate with clients and other team members out of the usual office environment, just in time for Christmas. And of course, who can forget our fantastic works Christmas do to a snowy NYC. I think it’s safe to say we all had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed letting our hair down after a very busy, yet very successful 2017. See you in the new year!
After joining Neo PR at the beginning of November, the team have welcomed me with open arms! I have had the opportunity to get immersed in a number of great clients, from face-to-face meetings to drafting blogs, press releases and countless social media updates. With the help and encouragement of a wonderful team, I have learnt so much in such a small space of time. Following a brilliant trip to snowy New York and a great day at Varsity, where I got the chance to meet all of our clients, it has been a great month of learning, meeting new people and exploring the new field of technology! I’m excited to get stuck into the new year!
Following my start as a Neo PR intern in July, I had a lot to learn about the world of technology PR, but with the support of the team I progressed quickly to Junior Account Executive and now enjoy working with a wide range of clients and of course, securing coverage! It’s been great getting to know everyone; and personal highlights have to include the fabulous Christmas party in snowy New York and the variety of social events, from curry nights to rounders matches! I’ve seen the number of employees and clients grow tremendously during my time here and I cannot wait to see the company expansion in 2018.
So, from us all at Neo PR, we hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
